On Monday, April 5th, a New Jersey court of appeals upheld a verdict in a mesothelioma lawsuit that resulted in a 30.3 million dollar award to a family in NJ. Florida Asbestos Dumping

Three men were arrested in Polk County, Florida after they were caught illegally dumping asbestos. Reports indicate the three men were caught dumping construction debris contaminated by asbestos in a swamp area in Polk County, FL.

The investigation which took place over several months prior to the arrest report there were over forty containers of asbestos contaminated materials that were being dumped into the general area. Investigations found that an environmental firm had dumped the contaminiated material into the swamp area.

The firm has since been order to clean up the dumped asbestos material at their own expense.

There are no further reports regarding the arrests of the three men.
