Illinois Bus Accident

A personal injury lawsuit has been filed by a woman injured when exiting a bus in the Granite City Terminal, Illinois. The accident occurred when the woman reported the driver of the bus closed the doors while she was exiting.

The plaintiff, Mattie Bennett said she was exiting the bus, when she was wedged between the doors, as she was exiting the bus. The suit was filed in Madison County Circuit Court for the sum of $50,000 plus the cost for the legal filing of the case.

Mrs. Bennett claims the incident caused injury to her neck, chest and shoulders. The suit covers loss wages, medical expenses, ongoing medical expenses and pain and suffering.
